I usually jizz like crazy over your work, but the exposure on this shot looks muddy as hell.. kinda flat, and under.. Otherwise it's a great idea.

Looks alright to me. Cuz this was shot under a shade. so the pillar whites are by right lower then the first picture.

White balance will never give you "perfect" colours. Photoshop will though
