Not at ALL an original photo, but it's so beautiful, I couldn't help myself from taking it.

I fully agree... I've taken a picture of a red rose before but yours is so beautiful. The close crop, showing nothing but soft shades of red, petals and nothing else, you can sink into it and forget the world. Rose, beauty, love... like a meditation.
In addition, the portrait format underlines the soft elegant beauty of the flower, reminiscent of a flower stem | growing upwards.
