Description

Here’s a photo study of the Gemini 4 space flight, after stumbling across it a while ago I’ve been looking forward to getting the chance to paint it ✧

Thanks! Here's a little something that a follower on tumblr shared about it to begin with

Fun fact: at the end of the spacewalk, astronaut Ed White was enjoying himself so much that the mission controllers had to repeatedly tell him to get back in the capsule while he kept using taking more pictures as an excuse to stay out longer. When he finally got back in he said, "It's the saddest moment of my life."

Wow, brilliant.  It's almost exactly like the reference.  I also like the way you softened your edges, even though they were hard in space.  I like yours better

Thanks very much! I like playing around with soft edges in my space art, I think it makes it look sort of more hazy and atmospheric

Yes, even tho there is no atmosphere .  I looked at both images, and I do like your softer edges.
