You know what I find to be weird?
When Bill possessed Dipper, he acted like he could only feel pain while possessing someone, and found it to be funny.
However, when they faced against Mega Bill in the Dream Realm and started attacking him with their Dream Abilities, he could feel pain there (without a human vessel), and he actually disliked the pain then, like when he was like "OW MY EYE, AUGH!" when they started bomberding him with Mabel's Kitten Fists and Soos's Lasers.
Weird huh? Bill sort of contradicted himself there.

HMM he probably only likes self-inflicted pain (stabbing w/ forks, shutting his hand in a drawer, falling down the stairs were all things he did voluntarily)
he also can probably only inflict pain on himself when he possesses a body. but that might just be me.
