In that particular case i see it hasΒ divine intervention, in the Indiana Jones universe God and Jesus are a reallity (the holy grail in the 3rd movie) so itsΒ completely different from the Nuke the Fridge thing.. that, is just dumb.

Just Yesterday, I saw this really funny South Park Episode (I think the episode was called "The China Problem" or something), and the Subplot of it was that Kyle, Stan, and some of the others were really depressed because they thought that "George Lucas and Steven Spielberg raped Indie and the series" with this terrible movie, and they wanted to do something about it. These are all the reasons why that was so.
You should've seen that South Park Episode. It was rather good, and it totally related to this.

I actually enjoy this more than I enjoyed the movie.
Seriously, here is a change that would have made the movie better;
*Jones puts crystal skull back on body. Sound effects and spinning start.*
*Camera switches to view of Jones. Viewer cannot see skeletons fusing.*
*Camera switches to fused skeletons. Skeletons are Jar Jar Binks.*
Jar Jar Binks: Meesa give yoosa what yoosa be askin' fa, okeeda?
*Camera pans to group.*
*Nazi lady enters. Nazi lady pushes people out of the way and walks up to Jar Jar.*
*Camera follows Nazi lady*
Nazi lady: I want to know everything. Show me everything!

Fun fact: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, often hailed as the best of the Star Wars movie, was not written or directed by George Lucas. Also, he has committed the travesties of Jar Jar Binks, Howard the Duck, the Star Wars Holiday Special and Padme's Chickification far before Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So I'm not surprised that Crystal Skull sucked. I never saw it out of respect to the REAL Indiana Jones movies. I'll stick with Raiders of the Lost Ark; that one was awesome. Temple of Doom is OK too; it would be great if not for Willie.

i hated that movie, more than i can express in words, the Revenge of the Syth is by far the best of the new 3, but even so far away from what was The Empire Strikes Back for instances.. but thats just me, know thers fans of the new saga, but Lucas can count me out

talking about tv shows, have you seen the new clone wars tv show or film? their much better than the new indy film and new(ish) star wars film. as the title suggests they follow the stories of jedi, clone and seperitists alike through out the clone wars era.
