So this is my first experiment with my style, since I've been really disliking the way I draw things. I'm happy with the way I sketch and do lineart, but in my opinion, everything goes downhill when I try to add colour, shading and complex backgrounds. This artwork is the first of two experiments I'm doing with my style, and the goal here was to limit my colour palette and only do minimal shading where it's necessary.I like this a lot actually! I like the colours and general feel of the drawing, I like the pose, I like how 'simple' it is but still looks damn good. This is my true style right here. Or at least a side of it. I'm happy I could finish one of my drawings for once. It's been a while since I've drawn my boy Quill too. I've updated his wing design, since the old one was really outdated. I really need to redo his reference...
