I started working on this costume about a year ago, it was a project I was really excited about. But like so many other costumes I got sidetracked by other projects and this fell to the back of my closet. So I decided that it was time to finish some old projects instead of making new costumes and this was the first on my list. The main dress is made from Simplicity pattern #3629.Everything else was made with patterns that I drafted, I kind of took a lot of liberty with the design. This costume is mean to be more of an assassin apprentice and NOT a female version of Ezio, but I get how people make the mistake.
Lots of different fabrics went into making this costumes. The dress, hood and underskirt are suede, everything is lined in burgundy taffeta. The front ruffle and sleeves are linen and the belt is velvet.

Really cool! I don't get how people can think of this costume as a female version of Ezio's... I mean, is really different and as soon as I saw it, I though it was a novice outfit.

wonderful work with the design, most people have trouble making an original design look good but you nailed it. Love the color choice as well.
