Decided to doodle my son uwu
I have a WIP bio for those who are interested in knowing more about him! Sorry I went a bit overboard and made his past really sad ajdsgadakjahladj-

Childhood:
This is something he really doesn’t like to talk about most of the time. If he’s told you about this, you’ve gained his trust completely.
    Wade really doesn’t remember much before the accident since he was so young at the time it had happened. Around the age of four, Wade and his parents were going on a trip to visit some family up north of where they lived for Christmas. He was pretty eager to see his cousins and grandparents as they didn’t get to see them often. He was babbling almost the entire trip there, saying all the things he wanted to do with them, the food he liked, etc. Typical toddler excitement. It only took one moment for all of that to change. In one instant, their car swerved and rolled into a ditch. Luckily Wade was properly strapped into his car seat, leaving him with minor injuries. His parents weren’t as lucky. His mother hadn’t been wearing her seat belt so she could more comfortably check on her son during the trip, but unfortunately, because of it, she died. The poor woman was launched out the windshield and pretty much died on impact. His father was wearing on but sustained severe injuries. In the end, he ended up succumbing to his wounds in the hospital later. Passerbys saw this and called for an ambulance immediately. Wade found out later that it was because a drunk driver crashed into them.
    Once treated for his minor injuries, his grandmother ended up being the one to go get him and bring him to the home they were originally celebrating the holidays at. In the end, it was a short period of time of his family arguing about what to do with him. He ultimately got stuck with an uncle on his mom’s side.

Adolescence:
    Once he moved in with his uncle, things didn’t get any better. The man would belittle Wade every chance he got and constantly ordered him around like his little slave. And when he wouldn’t listen, his uncle would hit him with a wooden spoon. His adolescence years were filled with fear and bitterness. He ended up shutting down emotionally and secluded himself when he got the chance. The only things that kept him going were anime and video games. He was able to distract himself for a short while with these amazing worlds and characters, which gave him a bit of hope. Despite the abuse, he did his best to get by so he could get out of this horrible situation. Working and studying relentlessly until he was able to move out.

Adult: It was such a breath of fresh air to get out of that damn house. In all honesty, he left as soon as he was able and was a bit unprepared. He was moving in between motels every once and a while till he was able to move into a cheap apartment a few blocks down from a beach. Wade is decently happy where he is, just admittedly a bit lonely.
