Nice work! The blur of the fish in the background really adds to the depth of the crisp foreground. This looks like traditional airbrushing

I like this coloring, but maybe that because I really like red and purples if you can't tell with my own coloring. You did really good on both them.

just comparing the 2

and this is only a suggestion, not sure how you can do this or even if its easy to do
perhaps try softening the outline of her

so she blends a little more to the background...well that the hope

but if its too much trouble I would worry
I am not even sure if that would work anyway

yes I know you were doing it quickly, as in still a work in progress

On the darker one it didn't stand out as much.

Still like I said regardless its very beautiful

yeah not sure what your using but yes there are ways I suppose but finding the right one LOL
Sorry of no real help to you here

I dont have any decent proggies on this puter for graphics
I was looking for some freebies last night (legal not booties)

found a few but then you, as in I, need to know how to fly them anyway

sure there must be a way to do it thought
I was thinking there is some sort of edge feathering tool thing,
not sure really what its called and again don't know if it would work to achieve this anyway

Not that I got a clue these days on Graphics SW
but do you mind if I ask what your using to try and do this with?

last I played with was PS5 and paintshop pro (Jasc era now owned by corel draw whatever they are now)
Only knew about 2% of their true power then
I just never took the time to truly lean the programs properly

I found a few out there that are free
you just have to watch "why" they are free like some are trials and some are limited in other ways, free for home use type thing and some are limited in functions.
but with all software read the detail (if you can find them)

I got the fractal program Apophysis 2.08 beta (old by the looks of it)
and another called Paint.Net it has layers which I like (and missed from what I have got)

both my were done with a combination of the 2

HTH since you asked how
