I guess my Eddie would be a combo of both the original and Ultimates version. A bully that is a complete ass and the dude that has all the deep down problems caused from the death of his parents and what he thinks of as a betrayal of Peter Parkers trust. My venom is basically the one that I love most. The musclular, Wild ass, Brute of a Beast. I always thought this one was the scariest. My thoughts what yours?Related content

Colors are way too bland and eddie's character design just makes me think that how is that bad kid doing from toy story 1. And venom's legs are too little. But still very good. Maybe this style just is not for me.

Although I dislike the toe-toed Venom concept, I like your take on it.
Aside from the design, what I loved about Eddie was his inferiority complex, caused by his father. When Parker lost his uncle, he wanted to avenge him by helping others avoid similar tragedies. Eddie on the other hand just took out his anger on everyone he believed humiliated him (except his father of course, he's untouchable after all) or humiliated others in the same way.

Not a huge Venom fan but your dynamic style really suits him. That Eddie Brock design in wonderful. You could ditch his double-bird (not saying you should) and his attitude would still come through the same. That contemptuous sneer says it all!

Ive been undecided on the EGO series so far, but I have to raise an objection here. Venom isnt massive because of the suit, Eddie Brock is a giant powerfully muscled dude even without the suit and he is deep down a descent man he just really hates Spiderman... a lot. I dont agree with the modern skinny intrinsically evil Eddie, it just doesnt ring true to Venom's design. That said I really do like the style in which this art is rendered,

Yeah I think this is an amazing piece. I wish he looked like this in the movie! He needed to be brolic and the anti-Spiderman. But he was not that. He was like Spidey in so many ways just decided differently. Don't feel it..
Batman characters are almost always the most polished because any writer that takes the character always continues the character development from the last incarnation.

in the Ultimate Comics, Eddie Brock started out as a good friend of Peter's. but when Peter told Eddie that the bio-suit Eddie (and Peter's father before his death) had been working on for years is too unstable for anyone to control (at best, Peter--who had super strength and spider-powers--could only reign it in for about an hour) and destroyed one of the samples, Eddie felt betrayed and used the remaining specimen (Venom) for revenge.
