Description When Dende asked Piccolo for an innocent piggy-back ride, neither of them expected Mr Popo to intervene

I can just imagine Mr Popo being extremely defensive about Dende lol. He's worried that his young namekian friend may also suffer the same fate as Nail and Kami. So naturally he's always there, paying close attention to what Piccolo does XD

Yeah--after all, Piccolo's trainig method with Gohan was pretty... extreme, considering he was basically a freaking toddler at the time.

If that was the DBZA Mr. PoPo, I would see this in a whole different way. XD

did you know that Mr. Popo is a gollywog pun? his lips were originally censored over here and a lot of issues were raised.

akira toryama isn't racist though as he had already proven to native fans, yet his style tended to characture black people differently to suit his style. It was through a joke that he originally created Mr. Popo after people complained about commander black from the red ribbon army.

Yeah, did you know there was an anime movie that the Funimation group never redubbed because it was based on an exclusive video game to japan due to it's technology at that time in the early 90s? the badguy was a tsuful/ tuffle/ tsufuru android named hatchiyack who was stronger than broly until he charged a blast that gave him a 15 second weak spot.

dragonball GT remaded this arc as the baby saga, but baby instead stole vegetas body to become insanely strong.

Yeah, he should let them have their fun XD I'm not really sure whether the real Mr Popo's that protective over Dende....I haven't seen many episodes where Dende's living on the lookout with him. I just have this feeling he might want to keep him safe, particularly from Piccolo. You really need to watch it Grey-sama, then you'll know what I'm talking about Or I could just tell you, but you might not like that

Who cares if he actually is that protective? It's fun to exaggerate things for no real reason. I keep forgetting to check if it's on TV. Since I've got the feeling it's not though... I'll go put the first manga on hold at the library before I forget. You COULD tell me. But that means I'd never actually get around to reading it, and that might be a shame.

(Almighty gasp) It has Popo in it!! The title is very fitting, I can see Mr. Popo following Piccolo around everywhere when he's at the lookout, probably with a broom in his hands to use a weapon if need be

Why don't you draw it? Seeing as though you seem to be engaged to Piccolo these days

I can actually imagine Popo putting in "Piccolo force fields" around the circumference of the lookout. They'll be something really dumb though, that Piccolo hates. Like the Ox-King's underpants, or Chi-Chi's cooking, or carboard cut outs of his 'groupies'
