Description Letting all my Bagginshield feelings out since the devastating last movie will be out in 5 days

And lately I like drawing simple pictures with pencils only. Have I ever mentioned that the best and worst part about Thorin is his hair? I always imagine Medusa's snake in my head when I start sketching his long locks. And it's so hella fun, but a pain in the butt to colour afterwards >__>

Hope you like it, guys~

This absolutely amazing ! To think you only did it with pencils, good job ! The perspective is really nice.

This is so beautiful, it's killing meeeee~ The grayscale looks so lovely in this image and look at those cuties, sleeping so close together. I love that Thorin's hair is such an attractive mess, makes me completely sure that it was Bilbo who's been busy messing it up for him...

Oh my, thanks for your lovely comment, dear! Thorin's hair is always a highlight to draw, but a pain to colour and shade...yet I love it so much and I can't blame Bilbo for making a mess out of them; Thorin's hair is way too tempting :'D

I'm seeing the devastating movie in a week, by the way, if I can keep myself breathing until then.

Your drawing makes me feel much better, though! It's so sweet and warm and blissful and I'm jealous of Bilbo again    I can't think of anything more wonderful than snuggling up to Thorin like that. I love the way you drew their profiles. Thorin's bearded jawline is heavenly!   I seriously can't look away and I seriously want to kiss him. And Bilbo's plump little cheeks are just adorable. Oh, and do they have beads of sweat all over them? Hmm...

I wanted to say that I quite love the simple pencil look. I can imagine how Thorin's hair is a handful to draw, though. He has a lot of it, and it's thick and wavy! I bet he has quite a lot of trouble keeping it in check himself. No wonder he needs a make-up team for that!

I've seen it yesterday..and even though I didn't cry as much as I've expected, it was nevertheless a heavy emotional burden to watch. Oh well, you'll see it for yourself, I don't want to spoil anything even though you know how it will end anyway.

I'm very glad to hear you like how this came out! I honestly didn't put much thought and effort into it, that's why I am even more surprised to see that people seem to like it so much To be honest, I'm also very jealous of Bilbo when I look at this picture...that lucky fool And hehe, I didn't thougth someone would recognize the beads of sweat! But you're right, it's some kind of aftermath I makes me really happy that you noticed this little detail. I think I may draw more of these pencil pictures since they're easy and fun, and it's good to hear that you like them Thank you very much again, dear! I'm so glad you like it

After seeing the movie, I can say for sure that Peter Jackson is a ThorinxBilbo shipper

Oh God, I know, right? There were moments in the movie where you could see that it was quite a bit more than only friendship that bound them. Especially at Bilbo's farewell when he stuttered "For me he was...he was..." Lord, have mercy with our hearts

Ah, so you've seen it! Yeah, I expect it'll be a bit of hell watching it, but I'll do it anyway. Are you planning to go again?

About your drawing, it's interesting that sometimes it's the things that we don't work very hard at that people like most. I don't know why that is. But I definitely like these pencil drawings, so yes, I would love to see more whenever you have the time. And, well, the beads of sweat were pretty obvious to me and quite suggestive. Maybe it's because I think of Thorin in that way a lot.

To be honest, I've played with the thought of watching it again...but now I think that I won't. Simply because I don't feel like watching it again soon, so I'll just wait for the DVD to come out. Don't get me wrong, the movie was good and a great ending of the Hobbit. But there were a few scenes that still feel like an open wound, e.g. Thorin's death scene. Let's say I'm not that eager to see it again very soon...

That's so true, I often feel that people appreciate the pictures where I don't put much effort into them more than the ones where I'm working hard. Lately I don't feel like colouring my pictures, it takes too much time, so simple pencil drawings come in handy now oooh, I completely understand that ;3

I understand about the movie. I also have high doubts over wanting to see it again once I've seen it for the first time. It feels a bit like that first-time watch of the scenes you mention are a point of no return and also a wall of blackness that I can't see past. I know it will change something in me, but I don't know what and how I'll feel afterwards. Oh well, I'm about to find out in 3 days.

I don't know why that happens with pieces of art that we don't necessarily work very hard on. Perhaps they feel more natural and people relate more to that? Hmm...  Oh, and I was quite sure you would understand. I don't know what straight woman in her right mind wouldn't. Thorin is so beautiful. How can we not think about that?
