Alu shot over the crest of the hill like a furry bullet. Stray snowflakes and clumps of slush and ice scattered to make way for the incoming Tokota and rider. The pack of males down below were shocked at the sudden appearance of Alu. They began to run. Alu gave a small growl, taking their leave as a challenge. She too bolted down the side of the hill, leaving trails of snow in her wake. The two caught up to the blue tagged tawny male, and slipped the halter over his head. They turned in a few circles, the male obviously displeased with the new accessory. For now Alu and Kaed would bring back this one to the holding grounds, but the rest.. They had nowhere to hide.
