This is what I do in chemistry class instead of paying attention XD
They got upgraded because of the fact that they discovered... something.
Captain Sharkfang now has shark abilities; he can breath underwater and swim quickly, as well as communicate with sharks. He's always smiling. He also got a case for his cutlass when he's underwater so he doesn't lose it, and shark fangs! To go with his name!
Benji got her eyelashes back, and they grow quickly so she can't cut them off again. She also got that weird blade thing on her left hand and the cuffs. Sharkfang gave her the leg accessory, that was her mother's, and the arm crossbow. She wishes her father wouldn't be so happy all the time too, he IS a pirate captain.
Macaco got a real monkey tail, permanent markings, and Monkey ears! You can tell he's happy! He was also given a slingshot by the captain.
Niko also received a water upgrade; like Sharkfang, he can breath underwater and swim quickly, though he won't eat fish anymore as he considers it to be cannibalism. He got a launcher for his boomerang, a flail, and a whip from Sharkfang.
Claw got a clawshot on his hand instead of a hook! He also got a new robotic eye and a jetpack to test out. (And with someone like Xev on the team that probably wasn't a good idea) He can now FLY, which he's really happy about. He also got claws on his feet and other hand, mostly to help climb but also good for attack. He's the only one who didn't get anything from Sharkfang.
Speaking of, Xev is now Bomberman... I guess you can call him exploXEV!!!! XD Cherry bombs from the captain and regular ones, along with the mark and the hat. Though no one's willing to test it. He's VERY happy. He's bomb happy. Not a good idea.
And even though he's not officially a member of the crew, Sharkfang was nice enough to let Bartholomew get an upgrade when no one was looking. He now has a grappling hook, metallic wings, so he can fly, and a shield from Sharkfang. This also introduces the new member, Bartholomew's pet Chica the crow! ^^ Chica too has an upgrade but... what it is remains a secret! She sleeps in the CROW'S NEST XD! This is the one time you'll see Bartholomew's body probably, as he's almost always wearing the cloak.
