Sort of reminds me of a scene in Scott Westerfield's LeviathanΒ where this gigantic German walker sends out smaller walkers, scouts, and they start firing phosphorous at the main character's stormwalker. This piece is reminiscent of the scene illustrated by Keith Thompson.
