I really like the lighting in this, it looks like a magical moment, almost something from a film due to the focus with the background being somewhat out of focus. Really nice capture and it seems so strange to see snow in april for me, even though we had snow in Scotland last week.

It was supposed to be a dump of 15cm that evening. But that's all that came, seen here. It was quite nice out too. I mean it was fairly mild and only a little windy. Because a storm was predicted less people were out and it was very quiet.
It doesn't snow much at all in Calgary, even in the official winter months. It just snows now and then, but anytime of the year!..LOL

That's quite interesting. We only get snow in the winter really. However the mountains in Wales and Scotland have a more varied snow fall.

Well, only in this city apparently. And it's rare rare. But it might snow in July every other year, just one day. The winds play funny tricks around here, being so close to the mountains.
