Β This is what I want from a Venom movie. It's not really about the power, Venom is Jung's Shadow Concept. Jung said: every human has a dark side that they push back in their head, it becomes a Shadow of everything we hate. Venom is Eddie Brock's Shadow.

Maybe for this Venom movie he is, but in the comics he was less Venom's shadow and more Spider-Man's. Venom was the self enabling of the Symbiote and Eddie's hatred. In the movie Eddie looks to be doing something similar to Green Goblin in the first Spider-Man movie, Eddie is soft while Venom is a hardened dark interior brought out.
