I really like these expression drawings. This character has a lot of personality!
My favorites are the ones on the corners, I think, but I like them all. The top right corner is great; I love how you can feel the energy from his big, belly-laugh. The wide open mouth, the way that he's laughing so hard that his eyes are shut really sell the laugh, but I think having him leaning forward into the laugh adds a lot to it. That the laugh is resonating not just in his face, but in his whole body communicated how strongly he's laughing, how genuinely happy and amused he is. In real life, sometimes just being around someone who is laughing really hard makes you smile and join in; that expression has a similar effect because I want to join in and laugh because I can tell how whole-hearted and genuine his laughter is.
The bottom left shot is great, too. Again -- it feels very genuine and lifelike. The smile is wide and friendly and happy, and the eyes looking off to the side show that it's good-natured and warm. And having his head and neck stretch out a bit in the opposite direction from whatever he's looking at makes the expression more interesting, too. But yeah, I think you show a generally good-natured personality for his character in all of the shots, especially here with his friendly, kind and kinda playful smile.
And the top left and bottom right shots still communicate his good-natured personality, even though those emotions, especially the angry one, might kinda go against that. I think the character design helps that a lot -- his thick eyebrows, and the kinda rounded, closed-line shape of his nose soften his features and temper the extreme emotions a bit. The angry expression feels strong and intense; his eyes are blazing with angry and you can hear him yelling. But at the same time, the softer, rounded shapes of his face make me feel like this is an outburst from an otherwise cool guy, not a default expression and demeanor from a mean, angry dude. I think it's neat that you were able to show a lot of different emotions through the lens of this character's personality, or at least what I've read into his personality from these sketches.
Like I said I like them all. The one in the middle looks great too, where he's kinda biting his lip and flinching his eyes shut waiting for something big and bad to hit and pass. They're all awesome...great job. : )
