How incredibly adorable. The blurred pigeons really give the photo depth, and I love how simple the composition is. What a great capture!

Yeah, these squirrels in this park will come up to you and climb all over you, it's so cute. I also stroked a few, they are very soft.
Thank you!

That's a lovely photo, how long did it take to get the shot?
But I have a feeling those pigeons are thinking, "But WWWEEEE want attention!". xD

Not very long. I was looking around and I just spotted this guy feeding the Pigeons and this one eager squirrel came along looking for food. He was very cheeky.

Hehe, that's a bit like UC Davis, except instead of pigeons it's ducks. Hundreds of them, all over the campus.

There was a lot of ducks here as well. But they where in the water.

It seems every place has a bunch of one kind of bird... for example, there's a ton of stellar's jays here

We have grey squirrel here in Eastern Pennsylvania. The darn things tease my little dog something fierce when we are out on walks.
As for the pigeons, I really didn't distract me from the squirrel and the hand that was feeding it.

That is strange. Because the ones I was photographing where very nice and would come right up to your hand, this could be because people feed them with peanuts. Children love going to the park and feeding them, as well as the pigeons with bread.
That is good, I was worried it would. Although, I think it could have been better without the pigeons on the fence.

Our Squirrels where I live an not fed like that so they run from people and animals.
I am sure if going to NYC's Central Park it may be something like your photo.

Pussy Squirrels. xD
Yeah, it is because they are use to people being around them a lot.

Not so fast. Some of those very same squirrels will tease cats and dogs.
They zip up to the nearest tree or phone pole and sit within easy reach.
All the while they chitter and taunt the cat or dog to chase them. Then
the skitter up a bit higher until the cat or dog backs off a bit. But
sometimes the squirrel get a big surprise when a cat goes up after them.
It is funny to watch and even funnier when a cat surprises the chittering
little beast.

My old dog Blackie always got teased. But we had a yard and we could let her go and watch as the squirrels would take off with a black dog streaks by to catch it only to come up short.
My current dog is usually on a leash and always come up short. But the squirrel is always there laughing at there that chittering way of theirs.
