I think this belongs more in surreal than fanart....Anyway, so this guy I know hired me to paint him something, and the only limitations I had was it had to be a Grateful Dead painting. Most of my commisioners don't give me nearly that much artistic freedom! YAY .....Plus I'm a fan anyway
It was a bit of a challenge since there is so much amazing Grateful Dead imagery already out there.

okay so this is gonna sound weird, but i felt i had to tell you... i was at this outdoor concert the other night and i was looking at the sky and it looked so familiar and i kept staring at it wondering why and then it hit me. this painting. like the clouds were all pinkish and it felt so magical and all idk why,i think you should do more paintings like this one, its amazing
