dont got anything interesting to tell about this one. just filly applejack (with a way to big hat) beeing sweet and stuff. also, first time filly rarity, i havent seen much of her on D.A.

Vision: 4.5 stars
I didn't go all the way here, because I think the idea of "helping a friend by offering them protection from the rain" is slightly cliche.
Your details are spot-on. The style for AJ's hat changes, though. The expressions are perfect for Rarity and AJ. And the whole idea is cute.
Originality: 4 stars
For the same reasons above. The idea is cliched. Brought out with these characters, however, is something I haven't seen, and there are legitimate reasons for what they do instead of the usual "just being nice on a whim".
Technique: 5 stars
You are an amazing artist, in the right style so that I can think I'm actually watching this in the show. Great, great job with the vectors, and the background is simple enough so that it doesn't distract from the characters, but is complex enough so that they appear to be something.
Impact: 4 stars
The idea is nice, but it's not complete. It's an ok ending, but I really think there should have been one more panel depicting the outcome. Ending in the middle of action feels abrupt.
Overall, this piece is really nice and adorable. Great eye for details!

I know what you're referencing, it's "Look Before You Sleep" and this is how it should've started, being all friendly and then it wears on Rarity and Applejack and maybe Twi, but instead they just bicker like little kids, and by that make the conflict less appearant, if they were to do something like this, the plot would've moved much much smoother. I love the art style and I love the twist of having them as fillies. That's just bucking adorable. Overall this is how "Look Before You Sleep" should have started, great art, great heart and overall kindnes the episode overlooked.

I thought it was simple and cute, i love mlp so i say this is fair! But i would say that
she did capture the friendship between Applejack and Rarity, I love the ponies to where they share and she captured this, simply perfect! A younger kid will copy what they see so I am proud of this, my daughter really liked this. Other peoples will to so i say bravo, Bravo to this artist. I was wondering how she did this simply amazing friendship resemblance! Simply beautiful Just magnificent. I(and im getting really tired of this saying that i don't have the maximum)

Vision: You have a very good eye for artwork. The two fillies look pretty much identical to the ones from the show. 1/2 star taken off for final panel, Rarity's face just seems... I don't know... off, is the best word to describe it. Also, hair usually gets darker when wet; (Also final panel.)
Originality: Never seen this combination of fillies in a comic, but I have seen not just the combination; (non filly), but the very concept of this comic before.
Technique: 1/2 star taken off for apple! But the rest is great, if MLP style was what you were going for, *Which it definitely was*
Impact: What it did, it did well. 5 stars!

I thought this piece was inspiringly touching,especially when Rarity and AppleJack usually don't get together nicely at most times.But truly,a cute and subtle of adorableness. The fact that is has a helping warm hand-er-Hoof at least,has an emotional grip and a sign obviously telling to the viewer that we should all help and get along with each and everyone another. There are so many cruel things in this world,even when it's raining,but you've manage to keep the calm and tranquillity in this piece and turn it into something that is pure and magical! I do say so myself. Good job!

I had to take a few minutes to calm down from all the cuteness so I could give an accurate critique. My two favorites right here.
I was originally going to nitpick and ask why Applejack had freckles in the middle of her face, BUT as I recall, this was the case when we saw her cutie mark story so that negative notched up to a super positive. FANTASTIC eye for detail on that part, super bonus points forever.
My only other two nitpicks, is Applejack's hat looks like two different styles of Cowboy hat from the first and second frames to the last three. The first two frames depict it as a "Open Shaped" cowboy hate and the last three are closer to her more "Telescope/Diamond Shape".
Finally, the last frame, I'm a sucker for cute endings, and I feel like you only went 95% of the way here. I loved the little details in the second frame where Applejack is holding her hat while noticing Rarity's concern. The contemplation she shows in the next two frames and how shamelessly she holds it over Rarity's head. I think Rarity smiling, at the last frame would've really gave it that extra feel.
OR
Keep her shocked frame, then add another where she smiles, and Applejack gives her classic warm smile while the hat is in her teeth.
So those are my two nitpicks and as you can see, those are things you really have to LOOK for. Ok, time for good things!
Background is good, you did a great job of depicting filly Applejack and Filly Rarity. I like how Rarity's tail seems to be starting a curl, as if it grows on her as she gets older, that's a fabulous touch. Expressions are great, nothing really looked off or felt forced. And again, AMAZING eye for detail with fill Applejack's middle face freckles. We see the side ones so often that even I forgot she had them in the middle of her face during her youth.
Aside from the nitpicks, like I said I loved this strip. Especially, because you told a story without dialogue, (even though in the description you mention having nothing interesting to tell) that's always awesome. I just really wanted that stronger ending. I always like to end on a good note! But hey, I've been watching you for a reason, I like what you do! I hope you found my critique worthy and useful!
Do I need to say it? Ok, I will...but you already know it's coming! Cliche fan comment in 3...2...1...

AJ eyes through the whole thing are so pretty !! her look in the third pannel just breaks my heart .. but aj knows how to be a great friend, and she doesn't care if she gets a little wet, ... you managed to plasm applejack's personality so good .

To begin I would like to say that this story could not be true because Applejack and Rarity did not know before having their Cutie Marks.
But the graphics are fine. Rarity's face is not that a lot like her.
