In reference to the last one under sims and rpgs, any person found asking to do so should be reported to Howrse, as we are not allowed to use photos at all.

That, unfortunatly, is something that very few seem to follow. When browsing through the coats submitted to black pearl, I'd say that quite a lot of them were based on a photo.

I was also wondering about this last rule. Would using your stock as a pose reference (nothing more) be considered ok by you? I'm just a little curious, since I really like the last lineart that I made using various stock images for pose references.

I would preferr if people just didn't use my photos at all for plack pearl coats. It's very tricky to draw a line between what is loosly based, and what's not. It's easier to not allow at all.
But sure, if it's so loosely based on my stock that I wouldn't be able to see that my photo was used, then of course it's fine to use.
