To be perfectly honest, I use dark background now, because ironning my white background for every shooting was really really boring. I should invest in paper-rolls...

!!!! I've never tried ironing my white one... it's 20ft long!

Oh Maud.. she never seizes to amaze me.. .. hehe

Very nice portrait! I would probably have brightened up her dress a little bit though, to make the image seem more balanced

She is an amazing girl.
I'll have a try with digital brightening for the dress, just to have a look.

I've done the Brightening. It's not extrem, but gives a better look of the overall silhouette. What do think of it ?

I would have done it like this: [link]

Tone down her skin colour a bit and raise the levels of the dress/hair. It requires some effort to mask out parts that you don't want to brighten or darken (it took me 3 Level adjustment layers with masks) but it's worth it I think. I don't know what you would prefer, at the end of the day it's your photography I'm just telling you how I would do it.

Your result is excellent, way more "pushed" that what I've done. I'll try to reproduce this kind of things. And ask you if I don't manage to
Thanks for you time & efforts.
