Great cover!
Wish I'd seen it sooner, BUT being a native Philadelphian I have to assert here the "Dr. J" is a Philadelphia 76er. Erving was also a Hawk, but that's not how he'll be remembered, that's not where he spent the majority of his career and that's not where he ascended to pro basketball greatness.
I know you're just the artist, but I just saw this cover and felt it necessary to say something.

During his final years in the ABA, Dr. J played for the New York Nets. I think that's what they were going for.

ya for many years the cover inspired a lot of my drawings,
including a faceless one that had a psychological effect and caused a riot in a law studies class, well after it was in there for a mouth.

its was ok, it was a planned effect that got of control, no one was hurt only the drawing was taken down and most probable destroyed, ah se la ve.
