Summer vacation is finally upon us UvU)//or at least it is for me~
With school done for the semester i finally have time to finish ref's and clutches and evolutions that I've had on reserve UvU
This time its diaval's turn, I simply HAD to have a zoroark on my ranch, and a spooky ghosty zoroark is all the better >v<
Diaval evolves into a Zoroark/Lampent,
and then into a Zoroark/Chandelure via upgrade stone (I think)
Gains 18 levels
(Full body x3, Shading x3, Bg x3)

I feel ya man. Hunky final evos (if possible) are the way to go~ >w< Which is kind of one of the reasons why I'm looking forward to/dreading when I evolve my Rock Fusion Chimchar, Ryu, into a Rock Fusion Infernape. XDD

Yahhhhh~ I just need to learn how to draw a proper Monferno for his middle evolution, then figure out how to draw a hunky Infernape body, then I should be alright. XDD I mean, I already somewhat struggle drawing his Chimchar body. ;w;
And I hope he'll become a babe soon enough~ He needs to learn more moves both as a Chimchar and a Rock Fusion before I go to do that. I'm a little confused with how you give a Fusion moves related to their type through art though... ;w; Like, I know there are certain moves they probably shouldn't be able to use because it doesn't make sense, I suppose? Iunno, I'm a bit confused on that.

Oh yeah i've always had a bit of a weird time drawing monferno but i like the look of infernape
you shouldn't have too difficult a time, depending on how long you plan to keep him as a monferno
Its always weird trying to figure out the moves a fusion can naturally learn. I usually go by their parents movesets, if they inherited the type from the parent it makes sense that they could learn the same moves that their parent could naturally learn, so long as it makes sense for the child to learn.

Ah, I see what you mean. I honestly was just gonna try to evolve him all the way through one submission. I wasn't planning on keeping him a Monferno long at all. It's just I want to give him moves and I also want to FINALLY GET HIS DANG BODY TYPE/MOVEMENTS DOWN THROUGH LEVELS AND MOVES. XDD Leveling him through art has always been one of the things I've tried to avoid, fortunately and unfortunately. But now, I just feel bad about it. ;w;
Oh, I get it now! I honestly thought that was how you were supposed to do it in the first place. But then I got confused about stuff after seeing other submissions and stuff soooo, yeah. XDD

or when i was in school i just never had time, so i felt bad for never leveling them
I was never too sure of it myself
That just seemed like it would make the most sense, so that's what i've done

Yeah. But I actually started to plan out what moves I wanted to give him, and from the looks of it, I'll have to at least practice his Monferno form a bit (maybe even get a ref for that done), so I can give him at least one move or two while he's like that, before I make him an Infernape.
And I was in school too, but now since I'm out I want to focus on stuff for both PKMNation that I have to still do, as well as become more active in my other groups. I've been neglecting a lot lately, but the groups aside from this one, I feel really bad for barely doing anything special in. ;w;
And I get it. But what about when they evolve? You know how on Bulbapedia there are some moves that the evolved Pokemon gets as Starting moves? Would evolved Pokemon get those moves too, or would they still have to learn them the regular way?

Or you could just teach him the moves before evolving him, so you wont have to keep him as a monferno

I think starting moves for evolved pokemon only count if they hatch out of an egg as the evolved form.
Otherwise they learn all their moves through leveling up, or earn a move right as they evolve
So i think they'd have to learn the normal way

Hmmm, yeah, I could, but I don't think it would work, since the move is a Fighting type move, and Ryu can only learn it when he becomes either a Monferno or a Infernape. And personally, given to how I'm thinking of him looking as an Infernape (I haven't entirely thought out his Monferno look just yet, I'm working backwards a bit), I think it'd be easier on me that if I WAS to give him that move, I would do it while he was a Monferno, THEN evolve him. At least, that's the only way I can think of to give him the move, Close Combat. ;w; Either way, I have A LOT of moves to teach him, as well as some moves I want to give my Water Fusion Misdreavus, Dusa before I evolve her too. I decided to work on her moves a little more though, since she's fairly easier to draw than Ryu, she doesn't have a lot of moves left over that I want to teach her in comparison to him(plus they're mainly moves that I want to give based on her Water typing, plus one other move I want to teach as a Mismagius and then she's done in my book XD), and I've already got her design as a Mismagius pretty much set in stone. c:
SOOOOO, as you can see, I'm going to be pretty busy with just these Pokemon in general over the Summer. XD And this is just a small part of what I want to do for some of my Pokemon that I've had longer in the group, besides the Starters I have. I'm pretty much fine with them, more or less. XDD
And oh, okay I see then. ;w; I kind of wished that it worked over all, but I guess things can't always be that easy. XDD Either way, I have a lot I would like to do for my ranch! c:

I thought that a pokemon could learn any move even from their later evolutions even before they evolved
Or it might have been ignored by a mod? but i've had a deerling learn horn leech ?XD so maybe they just overlooked it
but i had assumed thats how that worked >XD but i could very well be wrong
But what you're planning on doing seems like the better idea
Misdreavus are pretty easy to draw, and a water fusion mismagius sounds sweet (which reminds me of the misdreavus ref i still need to do >n>)

I have only evolved one of my starters >XD i've been meaning to evolve the other 2 for like 6 months now

Really? I didn't know that! Maybe I'M incorrect? Iunno, I've never thought this far with a Pokemon in terms of giving them moves and evolving them like this before. XDD Which is one of the reasons why my only evolved Pokemon are my starters, and they're just simple non-traited Pokemon to begin with. So their evolution process, if you will, is a pretty straightforward one. ;w;
I'm trying to get into leveling and evolving more than I already have done and/or are used to, but due to me not entirely doing a lot for myself in terms of art levelling in comparison with writing prompt levelling (and even those are kind of limited in what I've done), I'm very far behind in a lot of things.
And yeah, it is a bit easier! Not to mention it seems to take up the least amount of space on my paper, and I draw very big, much like how I write. XDD I even started trying to conduct a different kind of style of drawing Dusa (mainly her face and mouth- the mouth is probably going to be the biggest difference and cause a lot of weird looks XDD). I'm a little more used to drawing her than when I first did and even the next few times I did after that. Thank goodness, too. Since my mind is thinking of doing the levels, getting the evolution picture done, making her new ref, then probably drawing her very rarely, if at all, which is fortunately/unfortunately what I've done with my starters. c': Travis, my now Floatzel and one of my Starters, is a key example of laziness for levelling, and shying away from drawing him too much due to being unused to drawing him. XDD

Yeah that's a much easier route to go
normal pokemon are so much simpler when it comes to teaching moves/evolving
I'm sure you'll get everything done ^v^
And hopefully the summer break will just make everything easier for you
and give you more free time to get it done ^v^

I've gotten too lazy to level them and dont draw them very often
My 3 starters were Roan, my blaziken, he's the only starter i've evolved
Azriah, my meinfoo, I haven't evolved her cuz i'm not used drawing the evolution she becomes
and Garret, my murkrow, who i've been meaning to evolve cuz i LOVE honchkrow
But i HATE drawing bird feet, so i've but off evolving/leveling him cuz i don't like drawing the feet >XD

Ah, so those were your starters then? I vaguely remember the Blaziken, yes, but the other two I don't entirely remember seeing all that much. ;w; But I understand where you're coming from about the struggle of drawing bird feet. XD I can't even draw a bird the way I want sans bird feet!

Yeah i had drawn them in a couple things when i first joined, but i haven't drawn em much at all lately
I mainly just drew the blaziken so that i could get him evolved, my murkrow has a good bit of levels, i've just been too lazy to evolve him
