Description
The illumination of this shot is an optical illusion. light appears to be radiating from directly behind the arch, however that is somewhat false.The inner arch is colored orange by the setting moon 90 degrees to the left. The cloud streaks are picking up a slight hint of dawn from the sun rising 90 degrees to the right.
The star trails are a combination of 28 three-minute exposures. The clouds only appeared for the last two exposures.

Lol maybe, but it hasn't impressed me much with its star shots--My lenses don't seem to like astrophotography

it takes a lot of technique and trial and error. This shot was a compilation of 27-three minute exposures. making the exposure time only three per kept the noise down. but, because the exposure is still long and stars are bright, i put my aperture at f7, which puts the whole frame in focus. and nearly any lens should be good at f7-f11. ever have any questions let me know
