Senora Maria Teresa Coleria de San Esteban y Merida inspects the copper vats at her rum distillery and sugar plantation Puerto Gordo. She struts through, her hands clasped behind her back, the overseer fawningly following. The Senora suddenly turns to him, holding a tiny watch in her hand, and glares at him. She does not need to say anything; he knows what she wants. "But Senora, it has been over 110 degrees every day this week. The slaves are dying from exhaustion and heat! I'm not sure we can finish this lot in time for the slave ship's arrival tomorrow!" Senora Coleria simply dangled the timepiece in fron of the terrified overseers face. "Then light bonefires and have them work at night too! I must have enough rum and sugar to buy the whole lot! So you had better get those vats oht or you will end up in one of them!"

in fact, I chose to put "Caribbean" in the title because : 1st, we took the photograph at a place that was called "Pirates paradise" and then because a friend told me : "you make me think about elisabeth in pirates of caribbean!" XD
