I am very interested in the theme of nature, this work of art tells us to care about the forest, because in it a lot of life must be preserved

I was raised on a farm as a child and my mom used to take my siblings and I on what she called, "nature walks", out in the timber and she would show us wild animals at a distance, or show us bugs, spiders, snakes, and plants that were dangerous and aggressive to humans.  She had a love of nature and we all got that from her.  I feel very fortunate to have had that kind of upbringing.  I have always believed that there is a balance, or at least at one point in history, there was a balance in nature between all the species and that each time that we lose another species to extinction we get closer to our own end.  Our species is too caught up in making money and having power to worry about what the future holds for us or our descendants.
