I don't know if this is going to end up as a series or not. This started out as a wallpaper, but it grew as I was doing more research. The more images I found and the more information that I read, the more I got angry at the injustices that the Native Americans were dealt in the past and present.Anyway, I don't profess to know a whole lot about Native Americans or their history and struggles. All I know is that they got hosed.
75% of the images that I used are public domain photographs taken by Edward S. Curtis.

"got hosed" is an understatement. Keep diggin and you will find that the destruction on Native Americans was an intentional act of genocide. I do not use those words lightly. One of the first recoded use of biological weapons in the US occurred when native Americans were intentionally given blankets that were used by the victims of small pox.
Very powerful piece. I encourage you to continue to learn more (and create more of these pieces!).

Great theme. Haven't seen another about Native Americans here at dA... Pleasing colors and textures all the way. The text at the right may be blocking too much of the image, the picture could look better without it.

I like this one very much. Great composition and it would be cool to see a series of this. It's such a tragic and horrible part of history what has been done and is still done to NA's. A so proud and very important culture is nearly to die. Sad and tragic.

Excellent work. I know a bit about Native American history and you're right, they got screwed. Y'know, the image people have of the wilderness - horse -riding dudes is really quite inaccurate. That only happened much later. NA's were actually forest dwelling mofos. Anyway, great work, you have skills!
