They are our first indication of spring here. I am not sure why they grew there though.

I really don't know much about flowers in general, but these are usually the first ones to bloom. They were all over the neighborhood this year.

The neighbors ended up with purple ones all over their yard, this was the only one we had, but it was pretty cool.

Nothing has bloomed in our yard yet :/ not even our daffodils which is a bummer. I can almost always count on them to bloom.
But the day lilies are already huge so I am sure we will see something soon and the trees all over Dayton are blooming so the city smells marvelous for once!

I have nt been to Dayton, barely ever make it out of Akron anymore, but I have to say that it has been pretty nice here. Did you have that cold weather too?

Yes and it lasted a long time :/ But now it is Awesome and everything is green again! YAY!!! I LOVE spring and summer. Bike riding and camping times
