Kindof a long story, but the short answer s yes. I am not crazy about it though. Even if they are very cute. I just didn't want the extra responsibility of more cats. But yes they are adorable, chock full o' personality.

I know what you mean...my "only one cat" rule must have flown right out the window because we have 3!

I liked having two, but can't remember a time when anyone listened to my rule!

same here, but then they grow on you after awhile and you can't remember a time without them...lol I have a friend who refuses to have animals because she doesn't trust herself to not get attached to them and it would be too hard when they pass away.

They bring so much to your life though that they are worth that pain.

I suppose you are right.... they do give you a reason to smile sometimes when it seems there isn't one...

However on the other hand, they can take the smile off your face when you least suspect it! They do make life interesting!

unfortunately things like that happen but what do you do? How is your daughter doing? Is she back in school? Mine is a senior this year and going to be 18 next month!!!

You appreciate those that you have. Meghan is going to online school this year, but hasn't started yet. Hard to believe that she will be 18, mine will be 16 real soon.

I know, the time goes so fast! Mine is talking online college, because of her being in a wheelchair, but I am hoping she changes her mind and goes to the campus for classes and just stays living with me so she can afford everything she needs, but who knows its a huge big scary world out there so no rush on my part to get rid of her, but I don't want her to limit herself either or define herself by her disability.

I hope as well that she does not define herself by her disabilty, my hope for her is to make people forget she has one and to not notice it herself. It is a scary world, and Meghan really wants to attend college in CA.

Thanks. I would like my daughter to apply to every college she can, Colorado State University in Fort Collins is a great college and alot of kids from our small town attend there. There is also Colorado College in Boulder I think, but she is terrified that if she goes to one and lives on campus that no one will help her if she needs help, no matter how hard I try to make her believe in her ability to take care of her own situations to an extent. Good Luck, I think our hard jobs are just beginning to start for us my friend.

They are passing faster with each new day! I will never get the chance to do all those things that I wanted to do. I just hope that I have done enough so that she has memories of me when she leaves.

I applaud anyone who raises a child themselves, I can't imagine doing it all. I have been blessed with an absolutely terrific child. She makes me happy each and every day, even on those days when I don't see her, because we have put so many smiles in the bank that we will never run out.
