Code-Shark In reply to ??? [2020-04-02 13:29:32 +0000 UTC]
Thank you, and not to badly. With everything closed down I have been clawing at the walls a little. I found my escape in the form of driving down to my parents place and working on thinning the trees around the creek. Lots of chainsaw work, brush cutting, and stacking. Now after working on this for several days I have begun to form incredible back muscles.
The weather was just to nice to not be outside, and after a long winter I find it hard to stay indoors.
But today looks like it is going to be overcast, cold and cloudy, so I should be able to come back here and start up where we left off. ^^

More or less, really.Though I will make note of the great toilet paper shortage of 2020.It will be funny to tell future generations of the great epidemic that turned the 2 ply paper into gold.

Lol I have not seen a single roll in over three weeks now. I suspect I will have to order online at this rate. Maybe even set up a shop out front of the store and start selling them at $50 a bundle. Only two ply - The horrors...

As am I, and I hope you are doing good too. To think this is expected to go 9n now for the rest of the month.
Sparked by your comment I went to the local general store in the morning and actually got to see toilet paper for the first time in three week.
It was one ply and had four rolls, limited to one package per person.
So naturally I bought a pack.

That is a very good struck of luck (regardless of how much you get).It seems as though toilet paper is as valued as gold these days.Though it makes me question how ppl valued such things before this pandemic happened,or should I say panic?Cause the panic seems more relevant than the pandemic itself.

Lol I agree completely. It seems that the masses have inadvertently triggered a new sort of panic other than the virus. The madness. T.T
Now all one can do is try and hold out until the craze passes, and hope that it does soon enough.

Code-Shark In reply to JackAxeWell [2020-04-08 14:09:38 +0000 UTC]
I know. -_-
Well, nothing to exciting on the home front, not so far anyways.
So far, my employer has been cutting back everyone's hours, again, now we are down to only going in two days a pay period. Yikes. So, suddenly with time available and bills to pay I find myself looking into a second sort of temporary job. As it so happens, there has been a sudden demand for delivery drivers, and the pay is, though not great, decent enough to supplement one's income.
Now me being the practical joker that I am, found that you can assemble a perfectly good plague doctor costume, complete with the black crow like beak, robes and hat for just under $100. If I do go for this job, this will be the garb that I dawn when knocking on peoples doors. ;D
People wise, the dust masks and surgical masks, which do not protect you from the plague - those are designed for dust, and, to act as a splash guard, not for viral infection. If it is air born then you need a fully sealed closed system rig. Anyways, I went to the store, to get some coffee creamer, and nine out of ten people were wearing these masks. And giving me dark looks as I was not. One individual, who I recall quite clearly, eyes shot wide and he whirled his cart around power walking down the opposite direction.
Being that sort of guy, I was tempted to go full Hollywood zombie and start lurching after him making horrible respiratory sounds. Thankfully, this passed quickly and without incident. Though I have to admit, the mask thing is a bit of a modern day witchcraft that I have to shake my head at. You think people would learn, or, at the very least: Read the instructions on the box. Which clearly states what that mask is to be used for in the first place. Sigh.
But what about you, any fun news on the home front?

JackAxeWell In reply to Code-Shark [2020-04-08 14:38:58 +0000 UTC]
Work wise,it's been very demanding.I will summarize it with this statement:
"People want food, but are too damn scared to leave their houses."
The people on my side of the woods are essentially doing the same thing, wearing masks that won't protect them from anything.Though I think they primarily wear them to fulfill some psychological need to feel safe. But ever since this the popularity of the mask, there have been custom designed ones that are very eye catching. But you are right,it will not protect you from catching it. Common sense is just another thing that society is slowly loosing.
"When you let fear take over your judgement, you have already lost."
Heh,the ideas of you running around as a plague doctor or a zombie is a rather amusing visual.
Overall,it is fairly sustained.
But I must ask, how is Amenii n Nera taking this epidemic?

Code-Shark In reply to JackAxeWell [2020-04-08 15:48:54 +0000 UTC]
Lol Yup. That summarizes the problem in a nut shell. At some point one does have to leave the house. What makes me laugh is those who are at home, but open their windows, or, are running their AC units. Congratulations, your viral protection just went away.
Alas, but again very true. If I were the politically correct monster that I am, I would move that the phrase Common Sense be replaced with Uncommon Sense, as people as a whole severely lack in the qualities that compose its meaning.
Physiology plays a huge factor here, as does pseudoscience, or common belief. A very true quote too, it sparks a memory of a book I found once.
A while back, the library I enjoy visiting was putting on a rare book sale, and among some of the eye poppingly expensive texts there was a tiny green book of Irish Folk Wisdom, an uncommon text, and this one in need of repair, so the price was right. A thoroughly enjoyable read, if you can get by past the old English text, which it had been translated into. In short it was all about how to ward off ill fate, break curses, and social behaviors that were designed to protect you from magic, spirits, and people who may mean you harm.
One particular snip-it still sticks with me today, though the book has long sense been boxed, was that 'If one sees a stranger giving you the Evil Eye (Glaring at you, as best I can tell) then one should declare loudly: 'God bless you!' To break their spell.'
Now, at the time, I can see this being well believed and accepted, as it was the normal social expectation of the time. Now looking back, people scoff, and say what silly nonsense that is - as they strap on their viral protective dust masks and think themselves safe to move around outside their houses again.
Plague doctor wise, this is what happens when I am left to my own devices, or just get board and lack the common sense of restraint. I still kick the idea around, but suspect that I would cause more panic than I have a right too.
Nera and Amenii, well, both are hunkering down in their apartment, and both are going a little stir-crazy. Amenii, has spring fever and wants to be out and about, and is thus pinging off the walls trying to get out. Nera is not much better, being a predator she needs her space, and before the epidemic she would spend a lot of time subconsciously walking around outside. Now that she is stuck indoors and in a confined space she is in the full swing of cabin fever. Add these two together and... Well, maybe you should stick your head in, I am sure they could use the company.

'Did you hear that, someone is at the door.'
'And maybe you should go check who is there you salivating predator!'
'Fine. but only sense you asked so nicely.'
More thudding of feet, and a moment later, the door cracks open. Nera, brushing her hair out of her face, 'Look if this is about the noise - Jack!' She exclaims, 'Come in, please.' And twisting her head to look over her shoulder. 'Amenii, Jack is here!'
And from somewhere deeper in the apartment a door's lock clicks open.

A little flushed, and clearly catching her breath, Nera closes the door behind you. Her free hand caressing back her flowing mane of hair that had slipped over her face. 'Well now.' Breathing heavily. 'Apologies about the state of the place.' Nera gestured to the room at large, though well cleaned a rapid sort of mess seems to have overtaking the environment quite quickly. Cushions lay scattered about haphazardly as though thrown at a whim, a table is agar, and even one chair has been upended, now laying mournfully on its side.
Blowing out a little sigh, Nera settles herself across from you. Clad in a loose fitting sweater that leaves her shoulder bare and a set of dark nylon stockings that go up just past her knees. Nera grins. 'You seem to have come at just the right time. Amenii here was just beginning to to a little bit stir crazy after being cooped up for so long.'
'Me!' Amenii's voice proceeded her, as she came thundering out of the bedroom, pulling on one of Nera's shirts over her her head. 'Don't listen to a word she says - she was the one who attacked me!'

'Because you were chasing me!' Amenii blurted, face red as she huffed over and wrapped her tiny arms around your leg defensively, before looking up at you for support.

From the relative safety of your leg, Amenii shifts to look up at you. 'Three weeks, two days, and about twelve hours. Give or take, and not counting emergency runs to the grocery store - Nera has do go last time due to things getting a little to crazy out there.'
Nera, still a bit put out, blows out a long huff. 'That's putting it mildly. I have never seem so many mammals come so close to mauling or goring each other over the most basic of sanitation supplies.'
'It didn't help that you were threatening to bite people!' Amenii pointed a finger up at her lover, who was busy rolling her eyes.
'That was only because he tried to run you over with his cart.' She rumbled slowly pushing off from the wall in which her shoulder had been resting. 'Jerk had it coming anyways.'

"Nice going, Princess!" A voice in the mist yelled out. "Keep 'em occupied with that killer bod and I'll handle it from here."
"Mac! You arsehole! They're my mark! Get your own targets."
"Finders keepers!" Her partner-in-crime yelled out.
Just as she was about to open her mouth once more to scold him, a shot ricocheted off the floor to her right. Shit! she mentally chastised herself. He deliberately did that so that I'd give away my position. Hell, I'm going to make that cur pay for that cheap trick! Taking cover once more behind another pillar, she scoped out the lay of the battleground she found herself in. She'd been here a couple of times before, only because her partner had dragged her along with him. He loved water while she abhorred it with a passion. After all, one doesn't walk away from being eaten by a Glowing Wendigo while taking an impromptu bath in a river and not have nightmares about it.
She saw that she was next to the pool and if her senses were correct, her opponents were just at the other end of it. If she could sneak up on them in this mist, she knew she'd easily overpower them. Two things stood in the way of victory. One, her striped pattern easily stood out. By nature, she was more suited to the tall grass of the Serengeti rather than in a post-apocalyptic bathhouse located in the town of Goodsprings. Two, the way to success was an open one, providing no cover whatsoever. She'd be pinned down and shot full of lead before she even took three steps past the pillar she was hiding behind. Swearing silently in frustration, she knew there was only one way to reach them and she hated Mac for bringing her here in order to face her fears.
It's just a swimming pool... it's just a swimming pool... there aren't any monsters in it... she silently muttered, trying to muster up her courage to take the plunge. Convincing her brain was one thing. Her body, on the other hand, refused to obey. She remained crouched, frozen in place, sweating bullets as she feverishly sought another way to escape. She didn't know how long she remained in that position. That is until a grey furry form suddenly appeared out of the mist, pinning her and her arms against the pillar with surprising strength. Sharp fangs clamped around her throat, preventing her from making any sound. She tried to kick at her opponent but to her chagrin, the brute had managed to wedge his lower torso between her legs so that she was unseemly spread to the gills as his front hip ground against her unclothed sex, sending shock waves of pleasure to her brain. She tried to throw him off but her resolved further weakened when he kept both of her wrists pinned against the pillar with one paw while the other made its way down to her naked breast, playing with it as only a lover would.
"Printheth," Mac managed to grunt out, "donth makth thound, 'kay?"
Once she had acknowledged her recognition of him, he let go of her paws and throat as he pressed himself fully against her, holding her tightly as they locked lips. Lars inwardly seethed. She contemplated biting off his tongue and spitting it out. But, just like before, her body betrayed her. The desire to have him continue his pleasurable ministrations overwhelmed her despite the fact that they were pinned down by unfriendly fire. She didn't think that she was into anything kinky like exhibitionism but considering that they could die at any moment, the thrill of making love under such conditions was a rush she chased after like a drug addict would after a high.
As the wolf's large fingers penetrated her, bringing her arousal to a peak, he hotly whispered in her ear, "Are you ready?"
Gritting her teeth against the oncoming explosive climax, she gave an almost imperceptible nod.
"Okay, I'll draw their fire away from you while you slip into the pool and attack them. Ready? On three... Three!"
Before her brain could register a coherent objection, the Loup Garou had tossed her into the nearby pool while swiftly drawing his firearms and firing at the hidden enemy. His gunfire masked the splash she made entering the water. Angered by the deception, she swam underwater towards where the would-be bounty hunters had taken cover, swearing mightily that once she was done, she would most certainly take a certain mammal's hide as a fur coat. Eyes blazing with fury, she shot out of the water with the grace a dolphin would be envious of and emptied her ten millimeter into the ragged group. Those that she missed, died under her sharp hooves as they cut through throats and crunched heads like ripe watermelons.
She stood amongst the corpses, drawing ragged breaths of anger, fists clenched at her sides, ready to pummel Mac into a pile of primordial goop when she was unceremoniously tackled from behind and pinned to the ground. She tried to twist her neck in order to bite her attacker only to have Mac's jaws clamp painfully onto it, his fangs piercing her skin. Unable to retaliate, she tried to buck him off only to have him wrap a muscled arm around her throat, choking off her air supply. He forced her to lay down as he unsheathed himself and roughly shoved his large throbbing organ into her exposed vulva in one motion. He began to pummel her from behind, maintaining his bite on her neck as his paws clasped her hands. Furious, she reciprocated, meeting his thrusts with her own. For the next few minutes, the only sounds that could be heard were the angry grunts and thunderous slaps of bodies engaged in the ancient mating ritual as they fornicated amidst the corpses of their dead enemy.
Just as they reached their mutual climax, Mac firmly planted his feet, grabbed her hips with his paws, and gave one last mighty push, engaging his knot deep into her vagina. His seed spilled into her womb, triggering her own furious climax, causing her to scream out with pleasure as she arched back into her lover who grabbed both of her voluminous jugs and dug his claws into them. Letting go of her neck, he raised his muzzle to the sky, howling out his love for his mate.
They slowly sank to the floor, literally locked at the hips. Mac licked at the puncture wounds in her neck to stem the flow of blood as he gently ran his paws over Lars' naked figure underneath him, both of them catching their breaths. No words were exchanged as they nuzzled one another, nipping each other's lips lightly, and cuddled on the warm wooden floor of the bathhouse. After about twenty minutes of mindless petting, Mac's knot had shrunk enough so that it fell out with a plop, his semen spilling out from her onto the floor.
He stood up and reached down to help Lars up. He brought her into an embrace, his jaw resting atop her forehead, as he chuckled, "So, are you still afraid of water?"
Wordlessly, Lars looked up into his eyes and smiled. She then shot him in the gut with his own gun.
Mac painfully grimaced as he smiled through watery eyes, whispering as he collapsed, "Worth it."
Lars waited as the werewolf's wound slowly healed as his form changed and shrank to that of the human she had met in a dusty bar years ago and who had managed to capture her heart. "Next time, you won't get of that easily," she testily grumbled as she knelt to pick up her unconscious husband.
