Same~!! I'm actually working on a TV Head character that was inspired by this song ;D I've got most about him down except a name for him... o3o fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net… I can give you a short description of him if you like? I'm currently implementing him into a college art project that's about typography, so I'm linearting him with warped letters and numbers ;D it's the only way I get to fit in any personal art anymore...aahahaha *sobs*

OKAY SO
He's a super sweetie and he's always really nervous and cautious about things, but he has Psychosis (just hallucinations and delusions) so he kind of has to be cautious about almost everything. Very rarely will he just dive head-first into...well anything xD And every time he talks with someone he's especially careful then because he's worried he'll either say things that give too much important information away (usually pertaining to whatever delusion he has at the time) and/or because he's worried they're just a hallucination and don't actually exist. He's fairly sweet though and he's extremely reserved, but he is the friendly type. He doesn't really have any friends (at the moment at least) because he has a hard time maintaining connections with people and also because a lot of them just couldn't really handle his psychotic symptoms, so they just sort of up and left (it always takes him a while to notice when a friend leaves him, too, he has a bit of a hard time getting some reality concepts through his screen sometimes).
He doesn't always mind being alone like he is, but he does occasionally wish with all his heart that he could find someone who would help him through his harder than usual times. At the same time, though, he's worried that they'd end up either turning on him or getting hurt in some way or another. His hallucinations are pretty frightening and usually his delusions are paranoid delusions (he seems to have a reoccuring theme that there's either tiny creatures living inside his head that cause negative effects (or in some cases even whisper the answers to his test questions to him and are helpful, though this doesn't occur often) or that there's creatures out there trying to take him apart and sell off his parts on the black market (aka dismemberment)). He's not a severe case in means of occurance, it's a slight bit more than a mild case so he CAN function in public, just not at a normal level. He also refuses to take any medications because he's terrified they'll cause him to short-circuit and that (IF) he gets rebooted, he'll have lost a lot of memory.
Also, some more physical things about him, his arms and hands are actually physical static, which is considered an extremely unusual trait so he ALWAYS wears long sleeves and, more commonly, turtleneck sweaters. When he's 'normal' his tv screen projects in black and white, but when he's either experiencing an intense emotion or has a vivid hallucination he projects with bright, intense colours.
He also has a 'nightmare mode', which is when a hallucination is intense enough OR he's dreaming, his physical form changes. (I still need to draw out this badassery, actually xD) He loses his clothing, showing off his chest which has a large panel in it that opens to reveal a circuit breaker, but his static arms become very 'sharp' I suppose is a proper term? Like...this is the best way I can describe it rgb.thecomicseries.com/comics/… like the creature in the top panel. His legs become static, too, and sharp like that as well. He also grows talon-like claw hands and feet. Tendrils made of medium-thickness cables and wires sprout from the back of his head and back, though he usually can't find much of a use for them except when he's fighting off his nightmares. His screen also spews and oozes both colours and black-and-white, being on either the colour bar screen or a screen of static. If he's more calm, serious, or investigative, it's black and white. Any other emotion causes it to go into colour mode.
He honestly believes that this is a true form he can change into with enough will, but has never actually tried to do so for fear of not being able to control it and also out of fear of seriously injuring a real, living, innocent being.
He also has a bit of a hard time with school, mostly because he can't always focus on his work and the lessons (for very obvious reasons) and can sometimes be pretty disruptive to class (or sometimes even falls asleep in it since his sleep patterns are extremely irregular) all depending on what's going on mentally at the time. But, when he's having a more lucid day or time he's a positively excellent student, and somehow the hallucinogenic creatures that live in his head, when they whisper him answers they're almost always right...
Now he just needs a name, really :'D Any ideas? The only thing that keeps popping to mind for me is Kyle, but that's...well, Kyle...just doesn't sound right o3o Any ideas, friend~? What thoughts do you have about him? o3o''

The first think that came into my head when you asked for a name was Tick, since its the last syllable of "static" but idk??? You could bring some numerology into this but that might be a hassle

I also decided to name him Edward, but everyone calls him Circ which is short for Short Circuit~
