Hey guys, I've been unable to use my account for the past few months.Out of nowhere came an account confirmation prompt, which you have to do in order to keep using your account.
I have tried 3 different emails and none of them receives the confirmation mail.
I doubt the issue is on my side, I assume this is a way of getting rid of "old" accounts, or me specifically. I can't remember doing anything bad though o.O
I thought I'd post this just in case you are wondering why my account is not active anymore, I certainly would be if I could.
With my account in this state I cannot post new pictures or journals, I can't even comment or reply to your messages. Sorry guys

I totally agree with you ! I think both anime and realism look professional ! Each genre are complex and beautiful in their own way ! Though, in my opinion, anime allows you to be more creative and experiment a huge variety of artstyles that still correspond to the original genre. Realism can be drawn in different ways too, but it's not as versatile as anime :3

I disagree.Β Peter Max is a world famous artist not because he can do realism, which he can, but because he doesn't.Β He initially failed as an artist in industry because most employers would rather hire a photographer if they wanted realism.Β He became successful with his more elaborate style.Β Β
Now I'm not saying realism is not a good goal.Β After all, it's hard to photograph a realistic looking floating mountain, or griffin, cuz they kinda don't exist in the real world.Β And my favorite paintings hanging at my house are realistic.Β But, each artist practices a particular style or genre specifically to convey certain subtitles that can only be reliably achieved in that style.

i think you did an awesome job...if i could draw, i'd want it to be anime style too. i'm an eye and hair guy in real life and there are no prettier eyes or gorgeous hair,than in anime

Funny, It was the other way for me. And even when I draw anime its very rare. But on the lovely importance of this image.
There's the less is more quality going on. And who could hate the wind-blown effect. *grins* I command that no one hate that.

Well, it might just be that the primary crowd you attracted is interested in photography, as that is the majority of what is in your gallery. Β But there are bound to be others like me that love both.

Really cool stuff. I think that anime art has it's place in the industry as it does speak to a surprising amount of people if you do it well like this! My personal favorite thing is to mix both the anime and realism.

Pffft, forget what your watchers think! I think, as an artist, you should be allowed to post whatever you want. And, honestly, it'll introduce a new type of art to those who don't seem interested. I think this is a great piece! I appreciate it just as much as I appreciate your beautiful photography and your ironing works! You did a fantastic job copying it, and I know you'll just get better the more you work on it.
