Ish day wooolfah.i love how this came out. all except for the nose, it could've been darker and the background i can clean up for sure. This, although it may not look like it, is a very big picture, i mean it's like 4 times bigger than my scanner (the paper is) so i had to take a picture of it to submit it.
anyway, i was looking off a picture from a book when i drew this but that was only really for the fur... still it could've been better.
why is it that some people draw their best when they're half dead? oh well.
well this took me, i dunno how long at least an hour but not over five. i'm not sure what time it is i started. comments are greatly appreciated! what'd ya guys think?

You're welcome. As cool as digital art and photomanipulation is, there's still something to be said for good hand-drawn art (which requires not only imagination but skill!)

and as cool as traditional art is, it takes some amazing skill on its own. believe me i can't do digital art for crap.
and imagination is always debatable. this picture i took from a photo in a book, and half the stuff i have in my brain won't come down and let me draw them.

Lol. It's like that with a lot of my poetry. I have the ideas, but they won't come down until one random moment in the middle of the day ... when I usually don't have a pencil or paper around. I've written poems on napkins before! (If only I knew where they disappeared to.)
As far as my digital art goes, I just have to wait for a random moment of inspiration. I can't do photomanipulation very well at all, and forget using it like pencil and paper like some can. I've never really understood that. Unless they all have tablets... that explains it!
I'm hoping to get some more deviations up soon. I have a few poems to type in, and I guess the digital art will come as it comes.

oh i know that! i usually ask for a pen from someone and draw on anything i can get my hands on. which can be a problem, one of my teachers won't grade anything with a doodle on it.

I've turned loads of work in with doodles... fortunately, they're on the back, and my teachers don't usually check there.

i just looked at the picture in the book and drew the picture......
the book is called Wolves, which is really helpful, soooo many called that. it's got lots of photography of wolves in there.

The fur...The ears...The face...WOWZA.
(Basically, you did really good. The only thing /wrong/ that I notice is the chest. It looks a little too thick for the wolfeh. Like his neck is slim and good...Then you get to the chest, and it's like "POOF!" But that may just be the angle...)

It's hard to say without seeing what you were working from, if you were working from an original that is.
Umm, maybe a little more texture around the throat. And if you darken some of angles of the contour, it could make the picture pop out a lot more.
