Description Simple gear piece, did this as a warm-up for tonight.  Tinkering with fire is really fun but really, really endless... I mean it'll end eventually but I just enjoy playing around with it... a lot.

Mmmm.... fire....

Anyway, yeah, if you have a character that has an open wield slot then the Firebrand can give you some oomph if your Fate draws are high enough

This just makes me want to finish What Lies Beyond faster so I can have your cover smacked on top of it. Your art will be the best part of the whole book XD

It's getting closer. I'm already on part 3 of four, and I'm about halfway through it. It should be done by the end of the year!

This is really cool.  I love all the stuff you do with fire, but I dont know how to do it myself.

I do a little cheat... take some color on another layer set to Normal and start painting a core hue and then 2 shades of highlights, i.e. an orange then a light orange and an even lighter orange or a white.  Swirl things around with the Smudge tool until it starts lookin' a little flame-esque.  Now duplicate the layer and set it to Overlay.  It'll saturate the hue a bit and pop out your highlights, gives it a nice 'flame' appearance.  You can adjust the Overlay hue to be a little warmer if you want, it'll give it a bit more vibrancy and naturally more warmth.

It's a bit of trial and error but I enjoy the process a lot. There's probably much better ways to do fire stuff but this is the method I usually default to hehe

Well thanks!  Most of that I received as gibberish, but I think I get the jist. Again, thank you!
