CRASH!!!

"Raven? Raven, what happened" From the other room, I just hear the crash followed by a disturbingly awkward silence. "Raven??"

"Unngghhh..." is the only reply after several seconds.

Rushing to the kitchen, I find a semi-conscious Raven crutches splayed across the floor. She looks confused, and one hand is absentmindedly clutching at the back of her neck. The dent in the cabinet tells the rest.

Before she can move more, I rush down and help her to lie backward. As I start to assess her injury, she comes to a little more.

"Fucking.. tiles" she moans, "this is just what I need with two bad ankles!"

"Sounds like you hit pretty hard"

"Yeah.. I think. It feels like I did anyways.." she says through winces of pain. "I.. I don't think anything is broken at least."

Hell I'm no doctor, and I know Raven can be stubborn.. but she would know what a broken bone feels like. "I'll get ice, just lie there for now"

I grab a few ice packs and place them around her neck and shoulders. She intercepts one from me, and presses both of her wrists firmly around it. "I had my hands out when I fell," she says, "they are feeling it now too!"

"Hosptital visit?" I ask

"No, but can you please go upstairs for me and grab a few things?" She asks. The ice must be helping, her eyes are open now at least. "I need a brace for each wrist, you can take your pick. And my neck brace please"

"Which one?" I say half jokingly

"The most rigid one we have.." another wave of pain hits her and her eyes squint shut again. The rigid one it most definitely is.
