The orange pegasus waited on her friend's response. Ever the silent one, Misty Melody just smirked in acknowledgement. But that was more than enough for chatty Sully to continue.

"So of course I made shit up for laughs. Said he needed more hot aliens and less talk about politics. Cause, you know, nopony likes to read on and on about trade laws and boring stuff. Just skip the lore and get straight to the fucking."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I meant nobody," Solar added at Misty's glare, "Nothing gets past you."

"Anyway, as I was saying..." their one-sided conversation continued into the night. Misty never saying a word, Solar saying more than enough.

Solar Flare makes it a point to tag along for part of Misty's nightly walks. Sully makes sure to fill her in on all the day's gossip and drama to keep Misty in the loop. Just because you can only come out and night doesn't mean you can't be involved in the community. Misty couldn't care less about all that nonsense but loves Solar's company. It's better than going alone every night.
