Clytze/Dali - and what a fascinating combination it is. It's as though you two meet and complement one another on the artistic plane. He is obviously a powerful influence in this picture but not, I think, an overwhelming one. In fact in this picture your two different but complementary visions have merged together....almost perfectly well, I should say.
Neverthless, the presence of Dali does make this picture somewhat less personal than your others. Although I think that technically, it's brilliant. A real job of painting.
The female figure to the bottom centre-left of the picture captures my attention. As do the love birds. And the strange human (ish) form being driven away in the cart. Also the pregnant girls and the baby wearing the bubble of the placenta on its head.
The central figure appears to be struggling and suffering - I think this may be tied up with your idea of the artist's lot in life (but that is pure speculation on my part). But the bird perched quite comfortably at its mouth is suggestive of a certain stillness and naturalness - even at the heart (or eye) of the storm. That's interesting. It's a painting about suffering and not suffering at the same time. And it's a painting about nature (as yours so often are). And there is also a certain playfulness in it, too - some of the figures in your painting are at play and enjoying themselves^^

For some reason this reminds me of rocking out to heavy metal and partying in high school. And I know that makes no sense.
Very mysterious and well done as always Clytze!
