The new version of Nova! I almost changed everything with the textures since the first render, the freckles, the skin itself, eyebrows and even gave her red hair. Think I like her better as a redhead in fact

Beautiful picture. I love the lighting. The freckle distribution seems odd, but I can't put my finger on it. I think they're too dispersed and too random. I think there are patterns in real life that we are used to seeing, such as more density around the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose.

Yes, the red hair and freckles are perfect together! This is such a beautiful render and great textures! Excellent model and work here, as usual! I could get lost in those big mesmerizing eyes!

She's beautiful, but I cannot, for the life of me, remember seeing freckles on someone's lips. And only rarely on the lower chin...
And she makes a great red-head; give her green eyes and she'd be the stereotypical Irish girl!

Oh I have a something for freckles and red haired ladies! Iยดd probably soften the edges of the freckles or lighten them up a bit to make them a little more natural looking but that might only be me... I already like her very much as she is.

Which program do you use for creating textures? Maybe (if it is photoshop for example) you have the freckles as an extra layer, you can give them a very very very low gaussian softener (less than a pixel maybe, you should try that out and of course, save a copy of that layer before, just in case... 
I still already like them though, as I said, that might only be me. I would not have said anything, but you asked for constructive criticism. She is such a cutie!

Yeah, I use photoshop cs4, I tried doing as you suggested before - putting the freckles on a new layer and a very low gaussian softener/blur, but when I rendered it it looked like she had dirt water thrown in her face and it dried? haha. hard to explain but it didn't look good, but I'm thinking that's the best way to do it, I just have to find the right settings for it.
