The white smudges seen in some of my drawings are erasures of dirt and pencil lines. I do that digitally in Photoshop.

She is so cute. Love the over-sized looking boots.
Her thumb looks odd though. Like its too low. I checked with my own hand (best I could from a first person perspective). It seems correct for the angle of the hand but still looks wrong to me.
