Personality:
Stoic, cold-blooded and intelligent. Distances himself from anyone not in his team. A strategist and an observer, studies everything around him to best calculate his team's survival. Cares more about those close to him than himself. Very confident in his fighting power, but will only strike when needed or when his friends are in danger.

Although his fighting skills are proficient, his social skills are very much in need of practicing due to his upbringing. River and his mate Roach mostly talks for him and he sticks with the ecstatic grems as well as his other newfound friends to feel less threatened by social situations. Large groups overwhelm him as well as most simple social interactions.

Backstory:
Was born and bought by corrupted man because of rare elemental mutation he was born with. Locked in cage and treated like an exotic object, ogled and groped by owner's friends/companions. Everyday he observed, looking for a slip up from his handlers. Finally escaped one day when they forgot to fully close his rubber cage, and murdered and burned down the mansion, his prison. He changed his original name given by his tormentor to Khesz, the sound of zapping electricity, to remind himself of the day he became free.

He met River not long after his escape and while hostile at first, River eventually became his best friend and who Kaz can call his brother. And later on also became friends with Chamomile and Obediah, as well as Roach through River. Kaz has taken to Roach especially, and eventually become mated to the scientist grem.

With his newfound friends who doesn't care about his past or his inability to interact like a normal person, Kaz is learning slowly how to integrate back into the real world.

Fun Facts:
-Not long after meeting his bond brother, River scolded him for making his name almost impossible to pronounce and so took upon himself to nickname him as Kaz or just K.
-He once went a whole day wearing a tattered hoodie and a large sparkling bling necklace because River told him its what normal people wear everyday.
-Despite his confidence in his killing abilities, he is actually very self-conscious about his social abilities. He sometimes asks River or Roach about how to make himself seem more normal and likable.
