MY LIFE STORY PART III:

"The ascention"

When I got eleven, I somehow got back on drawing for pleasure. I have no idea what inspired me, but it's most likely to be Sonic X(The awful dub version). I got back to liking Sonic, too, and I continuously drew my childhood hero at school, slowly bringing me back my consciousness about my comic-book wanna-be fantasies. I saw a rather big gap between the artstyle I was implementing four years ago and the comics I did back then. Yes, for the first time, I did the actual comics on my notebooks. The first one(incompleted) was about Worms from the video game of the same name. The second one(also incomplete) was about Commander Keen.

Yes, those were all nice stuff, but then, when I got fourteen, I thought about my potential and was thinking it was time for my big break, and should try to use genuine ink, paper and other materials the pros use. I was starting this comic about Sonic 1(Which I'm technicaly still working on, though I hadn't touched that thing in months). The major thing that concerned me was how should I color the blasted thing. I had no idea how do the pro's color their stuff, and I used to color with pencils(Worms) and Markers(Commander Keen). Then came... the one known as John...

That John guy was the boyfriend of my older sister, and he really liked my style. He said he knows a pro-comic artist, though he's only famous underground. I met that bloke, named Sasha, and he showed me a lot about comic-books and how to color them using Photoshop. I owe a lot to John and Sasha, so I'll thank them here, too. A few days later, while I was colouring the Sonic comic, I came across an ad that changed my life...

It was about a Comic Book Festival at the Student's culture center and everyone is invited to make his own comic book out of four pages. I knew this was the chance of my life, so I started working on Video Game Horror post haste! It was summer time, and I didn't had to go to school, and the whole lot was finished(Inked, Sketched, Photoshoped, printed)in one week. I got into the art contest, and my work came to top 50 out of 250 contestants!(Even though I was in the "younger than 15 category.") I got greater optimism than ever!

ABOUT THE PAGE: The +3 blokes sneaked into the cinema, as they deserved it. In the first panel, we can see Duke Nukem, Rayman, Ristar, Commander Keen and Yoshi. Then came the actual footage of the movie.

Things go horribly wrong, however, as the movie is heavilly edited to not include violence. They now leak coins instead of blood, and give candy to each other instead of fighting each other. I say...

The movie is so bad, Agent 47 from the Hitman series puked to death. I have to appoint that the Orc guy's helmet is far to big...
