Hi! This is a panel from the manga Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akira_(m… The manga is very long and broken up into 6 volumes, but it's worth every page because it's an amazing story. I suggest you read it yourself. You can read it online here: www.mymanga.me/manga/Akira/1/1 Amazon has all six volumes if you want to buy them (I did, it was worth every penny) It was a huge landmark in Japanese manga because it used a lot of elements not previously seen (good action scenes, lots of details) it paved the way and influenced many manga to come, and it still does to this day. The anime was later made into a film in 1988, which is considered one of the best and most influential animated films of all times because it was the first anime to prerecord dialogue to fit the lip syncing better, which was previously only done by Western animation. The animation also run at 24 frames per second, making it smooth and absolutely gorgeous. It doesn't follow the manga very much but it still keeps a lot of it the same. You can watch it here: kissanime.to/Anime/Akira Have fun!

That does look engaging. I haven't read any manga, but this certainly looks worthwhile. Thanks for showing it to me!
