Well, I did it again...stumbled over some adoptables and one said "Pick me, pick me!" I really need to stop looking at adoptable sheets.

Name: Xarviour. (Zar-vee-or)
Breed: Lasair

At the edge of the mists wanders a young stallion. Once, he had tried to live a normal life. But his father's herd, afraid of his strange markings and green eyes, cast him out before his first year faded into the second. The shame and self-hatred he felt for himself suppressed his healing powers for quite some time...but now, he has grown more comfortable in his own, strangely-marked fur. Stallions and mares alike have sought him out, wishing him to join their ranks. But he turned them away. He would wait. He would wait until someone wanted him for the heart beating in his chest, not the powers that completed his soul.

Someday, he was sure, they would find him. He would be ready.

I really just wanted to draw him and not spend hours and hours shading, etc. So I went with really simple shading. I kinda like the effect, although I need to find a better method for manes/tails if I'm going to do that. Anyway...here's hoping he comes home with me.
