How long did it take you to draw the lighting? Or do you have a trick for that? I hope I don't sound too nosy.

I dont realy understand what you mean by "lighting". the background taked me about 4 or 5 hours. the character taked me around 4 days (yes I m prety long :/)

The light effects, shading. Mine sucks, and I want to see if I can pick up ways to help me improve. Wow, no wonder it's so pretty and detailed. I should start to look more out for the detail too.
