Description please fullview! honestly does anybody know why pictures get so blurry on dA?

here's the downside to weekly projects: you have to put something up even if you're not a 100% happy with it. It has just been such a rainy strange week, I haven't been taking any good new photos and wasn't really in the mood of editing one of the MANY old photos piling up since 2013. And then an hour ago I realized I'm only 4 weeks into this project, I can't already let it slide for NO reason
so yeeey, at least I made it in time (?)
no, seriously, i wanted to do this project exactly to overcome my perfectionism which is standing in my way all the time. but I'm so unhappy with how the editing here came out (and the sharpening went totally wrong again when I was downsizing the picture for dA   <- fixed that - or at least in fullview!
I guess I will cheat and edit this again some time soon because I really like the original photo. It's also been taken in the Allgäu and I will try to find out the name of this village and the castle we hiked up to take this photo from if I can because it was really quite a great view -> village as well as the castle ruin from which the photo was taken are called Eisenberg

Might I suggest something here?

It looks gorgeous as it is right now and if as you say the reason for this project is to overcome a tendency of being a perfectionist then... leave it be, let it stand as is.

When we shoot an image and later review it our memories tend to remember the view with so much precision that the image invariably falls short. The thing is our own eyes are never sharp over long distances and short for that matter. I love the hazy rainy distant view, why? because that's what I have witnessed with my own eyes throughout my life. I look at this image and can honestly feel I am standing there at that moment.

just my
