hehe your characters are not so people friendly it seems but maybe they have the trait that they open up when someone has eared their trust and respect. cause they do seem like the kind of people that doesn't just open up to anyone. might strike a conversation here and there but not letting them in to close and personal if you know what i mean
Do these two stick around with each other till Marundi passes away or does Xin walk off from his master to go on his own journeys at times? i read they are inseparable but who knows maybe they need some alone time now and then too

LOL, actually, Marundi was very friendly in comparison to Xin'fen. He was much more trusting (and still is, even now). They did stay together as master and student until our guild's time-skip plot was implemented. Unfortunately, it changed enough things that Marundi and Xin'fen never ended up meeting each other, and thus never ended up becoming master and student.

hehe seems i got a lot to pick up on and learn about your oc's, i love to read and get to know other peoples oc's as much as the owners are willing to share at least
Marundi does look a bit snarky but i think its good you made him a kind and trusting character. gives people a little reminder of never judge the books by its cover
shame that they didn't end up being master and student in the end, but i guess they found their purpose on other ends when not with each other
