[Appearance]
At First Glance:
Who's that ball of fluff running straight towards me? Magpiepaw is a mostly white, very fluffy she-cat (though her pelt has thinned out), with blue-grey paws and black bands(?) around the top of them. Her tail is like this as well, except the band is more jagged. She has two dark grey stripes on her tail. She has two circular splotches on her hindquarters (one on each side, respectively), and one on her lower back. There are black circles in these. On her left shoulder, she has a dark grey patch that dissapates. She has one like this on her tuft, and one around her left eye. Her left ear in blue-grey and has dark grey speckles around it. Her eyes are big, bright, pale green.

What Is She?
Magpiepaw doesn't much have a distinguishable breed. From her parents, she has Turkish Van, Domestic Short Hair, Maine Coon, Bombay, and Ocicat blood.

While Magpiepaw still retains several attributes from kithood, she's matured a bit now. She still carries her curious and excitable nature, as well as keeping a happy, joyful atmosphere around her. But since she's been apprenticed, she feels as if a lot of weight has come down on her shoulders. As medicine cat, it's her duty to protect and heal her clanmates, and if she doesn't than she's a failure. She fears for the day she loses a patient, and swears she'll never recover. It doesn't help that she's a bit scatterbrained and easily distracted, as well as harbouring a naive philosophy towards life. However, she's still happy and extroverted, always making friends and constantly trying to be sweet and generous to others. She's still the same Maggie, but with more experience behind her belt.

UPDATE: following the death of her best friend, Morningbird, Magpie has become a mourning bird. She's more quiet and doesn't feel like speaking at all about Morningbird's death, and if you try to pry she'll lash out. In about a moon or so she should be back to (relatively) her normal personality.

A pale, golden-brown tom lay in his mossy and dry nest in the dim light
of the nursery. He was snuggled up against his mother's soft, light brown
belly, and the bodies of his littermates. Ghostly, early New-Leaf light began to
seep through the entrance to the den, casting a yellow glow on the dusky
grey stone. The young kit slowly raised his head, blinking open his eyes and
gazing blearily around his surroundings. It was dark still, even with the Sun's
rays reflecting on the ground. He could see the silhouettes of other queens
with their children, snoring peacefully. The tom shifted to face his mother,
disturbing the other kits who let out small mews of annoyance. The brown
kit gave a quiet hiss in reply to settle down the others. Pushing his striped
paws to his mother's belly, he spoke.

"Mom," he whispered, prodding her with his paw. "It's light out and I'm bored.
Can I go outside? He stared at her with his bright green eyes, waiting for the
tabby she-cat to wake up.
