Description Painting I did of Pyramid Head, from Silent Hill 2.
This is actually painted on a canvas I made from an old T-shirt!

Errr.......... you know, Pyramid Head is a male approximately 190cm. Or you may cosplay and call yourself a "female" PH?

Cleopatrawolf In reply to AzureKnight2008 [2012-04-05 07:29:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, you're right.
I'll have to be a female PH, I've seen it cosplayed by females before though.

Really? I still think PH looks better as a male.

LOL Let's hope that PH has a wife (or a girlfriend) huh? That would be interesting........

What's the material, Cleopatrawolf? I can't make out if this is on canvas or on paper or material. Looks like watercolour or tempra though. Am I right?

Well, I'm glad you asked. It is kind-of funny actually, because it was painted onto a canvas that I made myself. It was made of an old T-shirt that I stretched and turned into a canvas. And I just used acrylic paint on it. I liked the way it looked in the end because it turned out really old looking, and it feels really rough. Which matches the mood of Silent Hill. ^_^

Lol! That's unreal! You did that with a former t-shirt? An 'A' for creativity. I mean, do you have an art teacher? If so, what did he or she think of that? That's just so fun and unusual! It would be cool to see what you could do with a black, or dark grey, or more moody shirt/canvas.

Thank you.
I did it for myself, so I never really showed it to any art teacher.
To be honest, I was kind-of embarrased that I could not afford a canvas at the time. But you know, t-shirts actually really do make good canvas material. As long as you don't mind alot of texture. ^_^

Man, you shouldn't sweat the little things. Artists have been known to do crazy stuff to get the art out. As far as I'm concerned, it's just another sign of their creativity. I bet you could paint a Seto t-shirt, you know, with the kind of paint that works on fabric. You'd be your own walking billboard at a con! Lol!

Oh, you were there, like, on scene? That's an unfair advantage when it comes to guessing the media, right? Lol! I mostly do digital stuff now, so I don't always recognize all the physical media. Lol!

As in DeathNote's Mello? He was totally beautiful, visually, yeah? Near was adorable, but less beautiful to look at, for certain. I love L myself. I must have every plushie and figure made. Lol!

Yessssss XD death notes Mello im in <3 with him!! hehe And L is SUPER awesome too
yes, near was less handsome than mello, but more brains ahaha
Matt was also epic! I just love them all so much

MagicBunni In reply to ValerieBlood [2011-05-10 00:20:08 +0000 UTC]

It's hard to talk about who is (operationally, at least) smarter after about 130, yeah? I guess I always preferred to think that these boys were very close in IQ, but very different in personality. Mello was far too self-destructive to ever become the next lettered detective, I think, but he was very astute and clever. Crafty in a way L could never be, and that Near underestimated.

Of them all, L was most tragically lonely and appeared to have a deathwish; Near was most practical to my eye, but it was that same practicality that made him almost unlikeable at times, I guess, in the same way I don't always like my smartphone. No one was able to replace L for me.

What was up with Matt and Mello? Was something going on there? They were both so mega-pretty!

ValerieBlood In reply to MagicBunni [2011-05-10 03:44:06 +0000 UTC]

Uhhh, i dont think Mello and Matt had anything "going on" lolz
But yeah, all that i agree with
But L never had a deathwish!! XD
He simply accepted defeat from Kira, but if you think about it, L really did outsmart Light in the end and win cuz L knew the case would be passed on to mello and near, thats why i think he purposly 'didnt choose' the next successer so that theyd have to work together and bring Kira down finally

i think L thought everything out hehe hes so amazing XD

MagicBunni In reply to ValerieBlood [2011-05-11 01:40:55 +0000 UTC]

Oh wow, we have totally different takes on the same work! Lol! L was a genius, but also damaged. I tend to be with Near on his take of L's relationship with Light being a critical error. Taking that kind of risk did strike me as a deathwish, not that it changes anything one whit. He abandoned caution is the thing, a serious breach of logic. I also don't think L outsmarted Kira. This is because L died and Kira had all that extra time to execute masses of people at will. Having to depend on a successor to do so was failing in your gamble. Now, thing is, to me, a lot of that made L more human. It made me really see L as the better man. I never liked Near, who is pinpoint logical on things, nearly as much as L. He didn't have L's heart. (Not that there's anything wrong with Near!)

Hm... if you split L in two I bet you'd get someone like Mello and someone like Near out of him. Lol! That's it! Someone needs to write a thesis on this!

ValerieBlood In reply to MagicBunni [2011-05-11 01:55:22 +0000 UTC]

But in the show it said Ryuzaki likes to jump into things even though a little risky, thats just how he was. like when he played tennis, or when they met in person, L knew that Light was a probable suspect, but took precautions and approaches him first. I dont think he had a deathwish, he was simply tring to get the upper-hand on the situations by taking risks in order to obtain justice

& Yeah, i think if you split him in half it'd definately be Near and mello! hehe
Thats why they were both needed to solve the case, as Near said, " We may not have been able to surpass the one we admired by ourself...but together we can stand with L. Together we can surpass L. "
